About this program

Knights Apex Rocket Challenge (KARC) is a team-based STEM competition for students from Grade 4 upward. Participants explore aerospace concepts, rocket design and practical challenge activities during a five-day program in Hangzhou and Huzhou from 30 November to 4 December 2026. Teams consist of four students.

What participants doParticipants visit Beihang University Hangzhou Innovation Institute, Westlake University and LandSpace, study aerospace history, satellites and rocket engineering, and work in four-student teams to design, assemble and launch a high-performance rocket model. The launch challenge targets the greatest flight height, with rockets exceeding approximately 100–150 metres.
