About this program
Co-organized by Knights Nurturing Foundation (KNF) and HKU CEDARS, this international challenge builds professional readiness through exploration and discovery. From 11–17 October 2026 at the HKU campus in Hong Kong, secondary-school participants develop SDG and social-innovation projects, while university participants work on commercial entrepreneurship, AI and deep-tech ideas. Students may apply individually or as a team; individual applicants are grouped into international teams. The program combines company and campus visits, workshops, project development, presentations and Q&A, with certificates and awards for eligible participants.

What participants doSecondary-school track: develop a business idea connected to the SDGs and social innovation; prepare a 120 × 80 cm board and a PowerPoint pitch; present for 5 minutes followed by 3 minutes of Q&A. University track: develop a startup or business proposal in commercial entrepreneurship, AI or deep tech; deliver a presentation and answer judges' questions. Both tracks emphasize international teamwork and professional readiness.

Rounds structureInternational program at HKU from 11–17 October 2026, combining exploration and visits, workshops, team project development, formal presentations and Q&A.
Evaluation methodSecondary projects are assessed on innovation, feasibility, social impact and presentation. University projects are assessed on pitching and product understanding, visual and persuasive presentation, and awareness of required resources. The brochure does not publish percentage weights.
